Mystic Seaport

The Mystic Seaport Museum grounds cover 19 acres on the Mystic River in Mystic, Connecticut, and include a recreated New England coastal village, a working shipyard, formal exhibit halls, and state-of-the-art artifact storage facilities. The Museum is home to more than 500 historic watercraft, including four National Historic Landmark vessels, most notably the 1841 whaleship Charles W. Morgan, America’s oldest commercial ship still in existence.

Mystic Aquarium

Mystic Aquarium is home to over 300 species of marine mammals, fish, birds, invertebrates, and reptiles. We also have a range of interactive and educational exhibits, including touch tanks that let you get up close and personal with sharks, rays, and invertebrates, our Ocean Solutions gallery that helps you learn how to protect our oceans, immersive VR experiences, and so much more. With so much to do and see, Mystic Aquarium provides hours of fun for the whole family.

Olde Mystick Village

Sheltered within nature, Olde Mistick Village is much more than a village. Custom gifts, restaurants, and Mystic-made souvenirs are assembled together to offer you a shopping experience unlike anything else.

Witch Meadow Lake Campground

Our 140 acres of mostly wooded parkland offer an incredible variety of amenities and recreational opportunities, including a 14 acre freshwater lake for swimming, boating and fishing. Witch Meadow Lake literally offers more features and attractions in one single location than you might expect to find in an entire season’s worth of camping. Check us out for a spell, and you’ll never want to check out.

Rocky Neck State Park

The beautiful, gently sloping, soft sandy beach, picnic areas, birdwatching, train watching, sprawling trail systems, and salt marsh viewing platforms make this park ideal for weekenders, vacationers, and day-trippers. Rocky Neck provides something for all members of the family.

Harkness Memorial State Park

Enjoy the panoramic views of Long Island Sound from Eolia, the elegant summer mansion of the Harkness family set on over 230 seaside acres of sweeping lawns, with stately trees and spectacular gardens.

Nature's Art Village – Dinosaur Place

Nature’s Art Village is a premier tourism destination with something for everyone. At The Dinosaur Place explore 60 acres with 1.5 miles of nature trails, over 60 life-sized dinosaurs, splash pad, unique playscapes, and A-MAZE-Asaurus maze. Other activities include 18-hole Copper Creek mini-golf, digging for gems, mining for gold, geode cutting, crystals and fossils, shopping, jewelry, toy shop, bead shop, and antiques.

Naskart (Supercharged Go-Karting and Axe Throwing)

Our all electric, zero emission karts will get your adrenaline pumping as you speed around the World’s Largest Indoor Multi-level Karting Track. The 110,000 square foot facility houses two very diverse multi-level tracks offering challenges for all ages both the beginner and experienced drivers.

Essex Steam Train and Riverboat

Essex Steam Train & Riverboat’s 2 1/2-hour train and riverboat or 1 hour train only journeys begins at the historic 1892 Essex Station for a 12-mile, narrated round-trip into the heart of the unspoiled Connecticut River Valley.  The steam locomotive pulls vintage coaches through the quintessential New England towns of Deep River and Chester. A natural highlight is the undeveloped Selden Neck State Park, accessible only by boat.

RoseGarden Ice Arena - Norwich

The RoseGarden Ice Arena in Norwich hosts daily public skate and stick time for hockey year-round. Visit Friday evenings for “laser skate.” During this time the regular lights are turned down and party lights and music are turned up for skating fun for the whole family. Skate rentals are available.

Norwich Sea Unicorns (Baseball)

Visit Dodd Stadium to catch a Norwich Sea Unicorns baseball game. The Sea Unicorns are part of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League and have games nearly daily throughout the summer. Stay after the game on a special night for the fireworks show each week.

CT Science Museum (Hartford, CT)

With more than 165 hands-on exhibits, a state-of-the-art 3D digital theater, four educational labs, plus daily programs and events, the Connecticut Science Center offers endless exploration for children, teens, and adults. From physics to forensics, geology to astronomy, visitors have the sciences at their fingertips.

Ocean Beach Park (Public)

Located at the foot of Ocean Avenue in beautiful New London, CT, the park is a  premier recreational facility providing excellent public access to the Atlantic Ocean from a beautiful white, sugar sand beach, complimented by an Olympic-size freshwater pool, lockers, and event staging.

Yawgoo Valley Ski Area & Water Park (Exeter, RI)

During the summer, Yawgoo Valley Water Park has two water slides, a swimming pool, and a kiddie pool. The two serpentine water slides have a combined length of over 750 feet. The kiddie pool is just a foot deep and perfect for toddlers and young children.
